Yesterday Longshot magazine started the creation of their new magazine. Announcing a theme and then giving everyone in the entire world 24 hours to submit their articles, interviews, illustrations, photoshoots, puzzles, reviews etc, which they then edited down in the next 24 hours to complete a full magazine completely from scratch in a 48 hour period of time.

The theme for this second issue (the first under the name Longshot magazine, because the first issue was using the term 48 hour magazine, untill legal issues made them change the name) was “Comeback”. I didn’t want to go for an obvious approach like people or ideas that made a comeback but went for the idea that there are people in this world desperate for a comeback. In the most basic sense. The most recent example of this are the people of Pakistan who were the victim of a natural disaster leaving them without food, shelter and water. The most basic needs, stripped from them. So if anyone deserves a comeback it is them.
